Le brûlage des déchets verts à l'air libre génère nombre de nuisances et dangers : fumée, risques d'incendie, odeurs, pollution atmosphérique et troubles du voisinage.
Il est interdit de brûler à l'air libre les déchets verts, produits par les particuliers, les collectivités et les entreprises.
Brûler vos déchets verts vous expose à une contravention de 450 € (article 131-13 du code pénal).
Quand il n’existe pas de solution de valorisation, à la marge et sous certaines conditions, les brûlages suivants sont possibles pour :
• les exploitants agricoles (cas limitatifs liés à l’entretien ou renouvellement des arbres fruitiers, vignes, élagage des haies)
• les propriétaires forestiers (brûlage des rémanents forestiers).
